The Big "0" Lied?!
I have read a lot of stuff since the POTUS delivered the SOTUS which said that Big "0" lied, but did he? Could it be that his speech writers are stupid or ignorant of the facts or just deceitful? If that is true, then perhaps Big "0" is stupid or ignorant of the facts or just deceitful. God alone knows the truth; all we can do is trust God and do all we can to know, understand, live and spread the truth among the truth seekers. Those who are turth rejecters are in God's hands, as are all of humanity. Some for judgment under law; some for blessing under grace. I strive to be under grace and so should everyone.
We still have the responsibility to strive against the powers of this world, vote against earthy evil, and tell others of the truth.

Move the terror trials to Chicago since Illinois seems to need the money and willing to house Gitmo inmates.

Air Travel
For those who travel by air, have you thought about using USPS/UPS/FedEx to ship luggage and avoid the extra charges for carry-on and check baggage? I used to do it when motorcycle touring. Make plans and send it to your hotel/motel.

Words Of Wisdom
Words Of Wisdom
Clint Smith, Director of Thunder Ranch, is part drill instructor, and part standup comic (Thunder Ranch is a firearms training facility in Arizona ).
Here are a few of his observation on tactics, firearms, self defense and life as we know it in the civilized world.
"The most important rule in a gunfight is: Always win and cheat if necessary."
"Don't forget, incoming fire has the right of way.."
"Make your attacker advance through a wall of bullets. You may get killed with your own gun, but he'll have to beat you to death with it, cause it's going to be empty."
"If you're not shootin', you should be loadin'. If you're not loadin', you should be movin', if you're not movin', someone's gonna cut your head off and put it on a stick."
"When you reload in low light encounters, don't put your flashlight in your back pocket.. If you light yourself up, you'll look like an angel or the tooth fairy... and you're gonna be one of 'em pretty soon."
"Do something. It may be wrong, but do something."
"Shoot what's available, as long as it's available, until something else becomes available."
"If you carry a gun, people will call you paranoid. That's ridiculous. If you have a gun, what in the hell do you have to be paranoid for."
"Don't shoot fast, unless you also shoot good."
"You can say 'stop' or 'alto' or use any other word you think will work, but I've found that a large bore muzzle pointed at someone's head is pretty much the universal language."
"You have the rest of your life to solve your problems.. How long you live depends on how well you do it."
"You cannot save the planet but you may be able to save yourself and your family."
"Thunder Ranch will be here as long as you'll have us or until someone makes us go away, and either way, it will be exciting."
More Excellent Gun Wisdom.......
The purpose of fighting is to win. There is no possible victory in defense. The sword is more important than the shield, and skill is more important than either. The final weapon is the brain. All else is supplemental.
1. Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to fight, he'll just kill you.
2. If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck.
3. I carry a gun cause a cop is too heavy.
4. When seconds count, the cops are just minutes away.
5. A reporter did a human-interest piece on the Texas Rangers. The reporter recognized the Colt Model 1911 the Ranger was carrying and asked him 'Why do you carry a 45?' The Ranger responded, 'Because they don't make a 46.'
6. An armed man will kill an unarmed man with monotonous regularity.
7. The old sheriff was attending an awards dinner when a lady commented on his wearing his sidearm. 'Sheriff, I see you have your pistol. Are you expecting trouble?' 'No ma'am. If I were expecting trouble, I would have brought my rifle.'
8. Beware of the man who only has one gun, because he probably knows how to use it very well.
'The true soldier fights not because he hates what is in front of him, but because he loves what is behind him.' G. K. Chesterton
A people that values its privileges above its principles will soon lose both.

Obama is planning a million man militia! - THR
I held off on posting this for a couple of weeks because I saw it as too far out. Then the issue of Interpol and the Big "0" giving them police powers with no oversight came up. (See previous post.) Then the story of "Army-sponsored report suggests new 'police force'" came up. (Following post.) I decided that this is worth following.

The Left and the Right
The Left and the Right
On January 20, 2010, Rush talked about the anger in America. Glenn Beck related the actions of the Maoists/radical/revolutionary Left.
But historically, the Right goes to the polls to bring about change like mature people should do, as in Massachusetts. The Left burns or bombs buildings, kills people, and riots in the streets as we saw in the '60s and '70s.
There is a lot of anger on the Right and a lot of bewilderment and confusion on the Left. But the Right will do what is right and draw together and be victorious. The Left will do what is criminal lose, go underground to lick their wounds.

How the Romans Did It
How the Romans Did It
In the January 2010 issue of the AUSA's Army Magazine Historically Speaking section, there is an excellent article by BG John S. Brown, USA Retired, entitled "Drawing the Line: How the Romans Did It."
In it, BG Brown relates how the Romans maintained their empire for three centuries before it collasped. The article was written during the time that Obama and his advisors were in deep deliberations concerning Afghanistan. It is an excellent read, accessable at: http://www.ausa.org/publications/armymagazine/archive/january2010/Pages/HistoricallySpeaking.aspx
The part that I want to highlight for your consumption and consideration is toward the end when the author calls upon the Roman Emperor Vespasian (A.D. 69-79) to offer advice to America during our present circumstances. The emperor highlights the difficulties and differences of Afghanistan and Iraq. If I understand the intent of the author, America's startegy in Iraq and Afghanistan under Bush's leadership was correct and the strategy under the Obama's guidance is suspect. Make up your own mind. Note: In the article, the “limes” are the limits of the Roman frontier.
"What advice might the ghost of one capable Roman emperor, Vespasian (A.D. 69–79) perhaps, offer us in present circumstances? He might say: Afghanistan belongs beyond the limes, being too alien, hostile, ungovernable and economically inconsequential to incorporate into our civilization. Bribe, intimidate or seduce the least objectionable mix of warlords to identify and extinguish threats to ourselves and our allies. Punitive expeditions should be violent and brief. We cannot rule the country, but we can ensure that no one objectionable to us rules in it either. Iraq is also alien and hostile, but more modernized and hugely significant economically. It would be a great place for an effective, heavily subsidized client government, without being too squeamish about the nature of that government—or unwilling to pass along from betting on one horse to betting on another. Over time, the soft power of our civilization might bring the people of Afghanistan or Iraq to actually embrace our values. At that time we might reconsider a strategic attitude towards them. Cultural change takes time. Meanwhile, don’t let our actual allies, those who do embrace our shared civilization and its values, stack arms and go soft. They should fully participate in their own defense and in those security initiatives from which they benefit."
I appreciate the author for not making a comparison between Vietnam and Afghanistan, because the ghosts of Vietnam have been exorcised and buried.
Thanks for reading!

BIOFUEL BUST
Something to watch. If biofuel is not the answer to our oil problem, perhaps those billion dollar "moonshine stills" can solve our corn whiskey shortage. Didn't know we had a corn whiskey shortage? Just wait until it is determined that it takes more corn juice energy to produce the methanol than what comes out the busines end.

The Ant and The Grasshopper
The Ant and The Grasshopper
OLD VERSION
The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.
The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away.
Come winter, the ant is warm and well fed.
The grasshopper has no food or shelter, so he dies out in the cold.
MORAL OF THE STORY: Be responsible for yourself!
MODERN VERSION
The ant works hard in the withering heat and the rain all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.
The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away.
Come winter, the shivering grasshopper calls a press conference and demands to know why the ant should be allowed to be warm and well fed while he is cold and starving.
CBS, NBC , PBS, CNN, and ABC show up to provide pictures of the shivering grasshopper next to a video of the ant in his comfortable home with a table filled with food.
America is stunned by the sharp contrast.
How can this be, that in a country of such wealth, this poor grasshopper is allowed to suffer so?
Kermit the Frog appears on Oprah with the grasshopper and everybody cries when they sing, 'It's Not Easy Being Green.'
ACORN stages a demonstration in front of the ant's house where the news stations film the group singing, "We shall overcome." Then Rev. Jeremiah Wright has the group kneel down to pray to God for the grasshopper's sake.
President Obama condemns the ant and blames President Bush, President Reagan, Christopher Columbus, and the Pope for the grasshopper's plight.
Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid exclaim in an interview with Larry King that the ant has gotten rich off the back of the grasshopper, and both call for an immediate tax hike on the ant to make him pay his fair share.
Finally, the EEOC drafts the Economic Equity & Anti-Grasshopper Act
retroactive to the beginning of the summer.
The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number of green bugs and, having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, his home is confiscated by the Government
Green Czar and given to the grasshopper.
The story ends as we see the grasshopper and his free-loading friends finishing up the last bits of the ant's food while the government house he is in, which, as you recall, just happens to be the ant's old house, crumbles around them because the grasshopper doesn't maintain it.
The ant has disappeared in the snow, never to be seen again.
The grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident, and the house, now abandoned, is taken over by a gang of spiders who terrorize the ramshackle, once prosperous and once peaceful, neighborhood.
The entire Nation collapses bringing the rest of the free world with it.
MORAL OF THE STORY: Be careful how you vote in 2010.
I've sent this to you because I believe that you are an ant - not a grasshopper!
Make sure that you pass this on to other ants. Don't bother sending it on to any grasshoppers because they wouldn't understand it, anyway.

CIA Bomber
CIA Bomber
Need some feedback. Am I callous and uncaring or realistic? I am a Vietnam combat veteran (Infantry Platoon Leader and Infantry Company Commander and a TET '68 survivor having become an Infantry Company Commander in the beginning of TET '68.) I spent almost 35 1/2 in the US Army uniform either Active Duty, USAReserves, and/or Army National Guard and am fully aware that people get killed and wounded.
The widow of the CIA bomber is "proud" of her husband; he carried out a "major operation." He killed seven Americans!? Is this a "major operation"? These seven people were patriots and warriors in our war against global terrorism. They should be honored and their families deserve our thanks and gratitude for their willingness to sacrifice and to encourage their warriors who were willing to lay it on the line for America.
In WW2 and Korea, America suffered hundreds and thousands killed and wounded daily. Americans considered it was worth it. In Vietnam, which was a different kind of war in terms of intensity and and numbers involved, it was not unusual to have dozens and sometimes, hundreds killed or wounded daily.
The Global War On Terrorism (GWOT) is similar to Vietnam in terms of intensity and numbers involved. What has happened to America when we agree with the enemy that seven killed is a catastrophe and is a "major" loss? We kill almost 120 people every day on our highways and half of those caused by impaired (drunk or drugged) drivers. We kill almost 40 every day in criminal actions. Granted, the numbers at risk are different - one million military and Dept. of Defense personnel in the line of danger vs 350 million civilians in the nation.
My contention is that we need to keep numbers and national feelings in proper perspective. We are encouraging our enemies when we agree with them that seven killed is a catastrope and is a call to reexamine our commitment. We ought to be in this GWOT for the long haul, as President Bush 43 maintained. Our, America's, survivor and future existence depends on our willingness to fight and sacrifice and die for liberty and freedom.
I much prefer to kill the enemy "over there" than to have to fight them in our streets and schools (remember Sep 1, 2004, Beslan, Russia, where 32 heavily armed militants took more than 1,200 people -- children, parents and teachers of School Number 1-- hostage and over 300 of them were killed by the militants and possibly the rescuers in the rescue attempt), our airplanes (remember the 1988 Pan Am Flight 103 bombing on December 21 killing 259 and 11 on the ground, the "shoe" bomber, and the "underwear" bomber) and various mass transit systems (remember the 11 March 2004 train attacks in Madrid, Spain). We must never forget 9-11-01, the Fort Hood killings, and the dozens of foiled/failed attacks since 2001. We could make a long list of attacks since the Marine barracks in Beirut, Lebanon in 1983, the 1993 attack on the World Trade Center, the 2000 attack on the USS Cole in Yemen, etc.
As we used to say, the only good [name the enemy] is a dead [enemy]. I say, kill 'em fast, kill 'em slow, kill 'em by the hundreds, just kill 'em. We don't have to be concerned about a dead enemy.

FOXNews.com - Obama Shifts Focus From Fighting Terror to Tackling Unemployment
The Big "0" does not know where to focus! He is like a kid in a candy shop - just keeps running back and forth trying to get it all. If he is not careful, he will end up with nothing, which is my desire. What has he accomplished so far?
None of foci (or is it focuses, no I think it is "foci" after all.) Not one of his foci is good for America. His main focus should be to kill as many of the extremist muslins as possible and totally destroy Al Qaeda. But that would mean he would have to kill his fellow muslins.

Another example of the Dems/Progressive wanting to belittle and enslave a portion of our society! That's why we have a welfare system that takes the father out of the family and has destroyed three generations of families. They seem to look down on the Black minority in which many, in spite of all the evidence, continue to look to the Dems as their benvolent benefactors.
The part that really bothers me is "unless he wanted to have one." In other words, the Big "0" can turn the necessary dialect when he needed or needs to do so; which belittles those who listen to him.

War and the Shorts Bomber
In a life and death situation, arrest, Miranda rights, and lawyers with a court hearing are not what is necessary. Deadly force delivered quickly and accurately is the answer. Deadly force is necessary; negotiation is out.
The Big "0" Firsts
Big "0" Firsts:
1st president in 110 years to miss the annual Army-Navy Football Game.
1st president to not attend any Christmas religious observance.
1st president to stay on vacation after a terrorist attack.
Add to that the first President not to stay in Washington for Christmas for the last 20 years. Past Presidents did not leave Washington for Christmas vacation until after Christmas. This was done so that their staff (Secret Service, Air Force One Crew, Limousine transport, Presidential advancing logistics etc.) could be with their families for Christmas.

Joys of Muslim Women
[This has been around for some time; but needs to be sent again.]
Joys of Muslim Women by Nonie Darwish
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the Muslim faith a Muslim man can marry a child as young as 1 year old and have sexual intimacy with this child. Consummating the marriage by 9.
The dowry is given to the family in exchange for the woman (who becomes his slave) and for the purchase of the private parts of the woman, to use her as a toy.
Even though a woman is abused she can not obtain a divorce.
To prove rape, the woman must have (4) male witnesses.
Often after a woman has been raped, she is returned to her family and the family must return the dowry. The family has the right to execute her (an honor killing) to restore the honor of the family. Husbands can beat their wives 'at will' and he does not have to say why he has beaten her.
The husband is permitted to have (4 wives) and a temporary wife for an hour (prostitute) at his discretion.
The Shariah Muslim law controls the private as well as the public life of the woman.
In the West World (America) Muslim men are starting to demand Shariah Law so the wife can not obtain a divorce and he can have full and complete control of her. It is amazing and alarming how many of our sisters and daughters attending American Universities are now marrying Muslim men and submitting themselves and their children unsuspectingly to the Shariah law.
By passing this on, enlightened American women may avoid becoming a slave under Shariah Law.
Ripping the West in Two.
Author and lecturer Nonie Darwish says the goal of radical Islamists is to impose Shariah law on the world, ripping Western law and liberty in two.
She recently authored the book, Cruel and Usual Punishment: The Terrifying Global Implications of Islamic Law.
Darwish was born in Cairo and spent her childhood in Egypt and Gaza before immigrating to America in 1978, when she was eight years old. Her father died while leading covert attacks on Israel. He was a high-ranking Egyptian military officer stationed with his family in Gaza .
When he died, he was considered a "shahid," a martyr for jihad. His posthumous status earned Nonie and her family an elevated position in Muslim society.
But Darwish developed a skeptical eye at an early age. She questioned her own Muslim culture and upbringing. She converted to Christianity after hearing a Christian preacher on television.
In her latest book, Darwish warns about creeping sharia law - what it is, what it means, and how it is manifested in Islamic countries.
For the West, she says radical Islamists are working to impose sharia on the world. If that happens, Western civilization will be destroyed. Westerners generally assume all religions encourage a respect for the dignity of each individual. Islamic law (Sharia) teaches that non-Muslims should be subjugated or killed in this world.
Peace and prosperity for one's children is not as important as assuring that Islamic law rules everywhere in the Middle East and eventually in the world.
While Westerners tend to think that all religions encourage some form of the golden rule, Sharia teaches two systems of ethics - one for Muslims and another for non-Muslims. Building on tribal practices of the seventh century, Sharia encourages the side of humanity that wants to take from and subjugate others.
While Westerners tend to think in terms of religious people developing a personal understanding of and relationship with God, Sharia advocates executing people who ask difficult questions that could be interpreted as criticism.
It's hard to imagine, that in this day and age, Islamic scholars agree that those who criticize Islam or choose to stop being Muslim should be executed. Sadly, while talk of an Islamic reformation is common and even assumed by many in the West, such murmurings in the Middle East are silenced through intimidation.
While Westerners are accustomed to an increase in religious tolerance over time, Darwish explains how petro dollars are being used to grow an extremely intolerant form of political Islam in her native Egypt and elsewhere.
In twenty years there will be enough Muslim voters in the U.S. to elect the President by themselves! Rest assured they will do so... You can look at how they have taken over several towns in the USA.. Dearborn Mich. is one... and there are others...
I think everyone in the U.S. should be required to read this, but with the ACLU, there is no way this will be widely publicized, unless each of us sends it on!
It is too bad that so many are disillusioned with life and Christianity to accept Muslims as peaceful.. some may be but they have an army that is willing to shed blood in the name of Islam.. the peaceful support the warriors with their finances and own kind of patriotism to their religion.. While America is getting rid of Christianity from all public sites and erasing God from the lives of children the Muslims are planning a great jihad on America ..
This is your chance to make a difference...! Pass it on to your email list or at least those you think will listen
