Our Politicians' Love of Country

Years ago, with a few exceptions, up until the mid-1960's starting with LBJ, our elected officials were common people who loved their country and community and thought they could serve and protect. Today, our politicians' love of country is in doubt (I realize this will cause outrage in some, but if you love something you do not try to change it; reflect on marriage partners.) and their desire is to change the country into their image which is tarnished by lack of respect for our Constitution and a lack of Judeo-Christian values. This goes across party lines.
