God is ....

We have all seen the bumper sticker: "God is my Co-Pilot". That has always bothered me. It means that God is there anytime I choose to allow Him to take control or when I am unable. Some have tried to improve the sticker: "God is my Pilot". This indicates that God is in control and I have no choices, just along for the ride. I prefer: "God is my Navigator." God lays out the path, but it is my choice to take it or leave it. I try to always take it because His Way is best. He is always there beside me with course corrections if I listen. But the free-will choice is mine. I praise Him with my obedience.
