Due Respect

I am really bothered when people talk about the Prez getting due respect! No one with the current goals he has for this Republic deserves due respect; that person deserves suspicion and careful observation. I spent 35 years of commissioned service with the US Army (Active Duty, Reserves, and National Guard) and know about respecting superiors. We can respect the office but not the man. When the man lowers himself below the office by misconduct or speech, i.e., lying, then that man forfeits his expectation of respect.
